Brief description of the first automatic fragmentation analysis software for photogrammetric 3D models and its behavior and performance. The algorithm utilizes a combined 3D-2D analysis which allows the automatic analysis of the entire muck pile surface. The achieved precision is 0.4% of the fragment sizes. The fragmentation analysis software seamlessly integrates into BlastMetriX and ShapeMetriX packages.
